Dermal Fillers are used to reduce wrinkles, raise scar depressions, enhance lips, and replace soft-tissue volume loss; they are revolutionary in reversing changes associated with aging.
The active ingredient in the filler traps the body’s own water in the injection area to add volume to the skin, returning the structure of the skin to its original youthful state. Fillers are injected with a very fine needle under the skin. The treatment area is visibly lifted and smoothed. This only takes about 30 minutes but the results can last from three months to a year depending upon the material chosen.
Even more revolutionary are treatments using fillers that replicate results from rhinoplasties and face lifts. Utilizing fillers to straighten the appearance of the nose and/or to elevate areas of the face, these procedures are rapidly replacing surgeries because there is no down time involved. In 2007, nearly 1.3 million cosmetic procedures were performed with dermal fillers.

Restylane®
Restylane® is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance that is used for the treatment of wrinkles and lip augmentation. The injected gel gives natural volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. Usually, only one treatment is necessary for optimum results. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement that is gentle to your skin. The effects of Restylane® can last up to one year. Treating wrinkles with Restylane® is fast and safe – and leaves no scars or other traces on the face.
Juvederm™ Ultra and Juvederm™ Ultra Plus
Juvederm™ is a smooth gel that is made up of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance found in your body. By carefully injecting Juvederm™ underneath the skin, your skin can be completely rejuvenated, ultimately adding volume and reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles and folds. It offers patients a safe and effective treatment with little to no down-time. Juvederm™ provides patients with dramatic improvement almost immediately following treatment. Results can last up to six months.
Radiesse®
Radiesse® is an injectable filler used to reduce the appearance of facial folds and wrinkles. Radiesse® is different from other fillers because it is made from calcium-based microspheres that help reconstruct the base of the skin by stimulating collagen production, ultimately providing the longest-lasting results. Radiesse® is a safe and effective providing patients with results that can typically last from six months to one year.
Perlane®
Perlane® is an injectable filler used to smooth moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles such as fine lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth. (nasolabial folds). Perlane generally last for about 6-12 months. It has been found to be a safe dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin. Perlane is composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the body. The hyaluronic acid in Perlane® is a crystal clear gel that is chemically cross-linked to delay the breakdown by skin enzymes. Perlane® is non-animal based and free from animal protein. This quality prevents disease transmission. Allergy pre-testing is not necessary.
