What does it feel like?
Most patients find that VelaShape is comfortable, like a warm deep tissue massage. The treatment is designed to accommodate your sensitivity and comfort level. It is normal to experience a warm sensation for a few hours post treatment. Your skin may also appear pink for several hours.
How do I maintain results?
Following your complete regimen, it is recommended to obtain maintenance treatments periodically. Like all non-surgical and surgical techniques, results will last longer of you follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly.

With the introduction of LipoLite®, body contouring has reached the pinnacle of safety and effectiveness. Body shaping has become a less-invasive treatment with minimal bruising, with virtually no recovery time, and impressive results – including improvement in area contour, smoothness, and skin tightening.
LipoLite® fine-tunes the results of traditional full body liposuction. It smoothes and contours the superficial fat layer just beneath the skin, so patients can get a more natural-looking result. LipoLite® excels at blending the suctioned and non-suctioned areas and can even address sagging skin pockets that traditional liposuction leaves behind.
How Does LipoLite® Work?
LipoLite® features an ultrafine tube, called a “cannula”, which is inserted through a tiny incision into your skin utilizing a combination of local and tumescent anesthesia. A precise, powerful laser beam is directed via an optical fiber through the cannula and melts deposits of fat cells within the treatment area. This fat is then removed from the area using the same small incision. Each treatment area takes about an hour and you can do more than one treatment area at a time.

What Areas Can Be Treated?
LipoLite® complements traditional liposuction and contouring procedures because it can treat smaller problem areas that are impossible to treat with traditional liposuction. Smaller areas on your body and face can easily be treated with LipoLite® including; the jowls, under the chin, bra roll, back of the arms, inner thighs, love handles, and saddlebags. In addition, larger areas including abdomen, thighs, and buttocks can also be addressed.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
LipoLite® is a single outpatient treatment and is followed with 3 additional VelaShape® treatments. The VelaShape® treatments are included in your package.
Is There Any Downtime?
There is no downtime. Many patients return to work the next day and most patients can expect to be back to work in about two days.
When Can I Expect To See Results?
While your body will continue to improve over the next six to eight weeks, “full remodeling” can be expected in six months.
